Our client, after a career as a winemaker, decided to transform an old barn. His project was to transform it into a large reception hall to be rented to individuals and professionals.
All his clients appreciate the space, very open, voluminous and soberly decorated.
After several months of activity there was only one recurring criticism: the room is too noisy!
As soon as there are more than 4 or 5 people talking in the room, it becomes very uncomfortable and no one can hear or understand each other. This situation was very frequent. Indeed, a room of this size can accommodate more than 30 people. This was regularly the case.
Aesthetic and decorative acoustic panels
We were therefore able to advise our client thanks to several photos, a detailed plan and measurements of the room. Recently, we acquired a new acoustics software. It allows us to take into account the volumes, materials and purposes of the room. Thus, we were able to make acoustic simulations in a numerical way. This in order to propose several solutions to our customer. We took into account the “performance” dimension, but also the aesthetic impact.
After a presentation of our different product ranges, his choice fell on the acoustic panel “MUTUM Eco white“. This product is ideal to remain discreet. Indeed, it is veneered on the ceiling and are pure white.
Its declension in “Eco printed” also allows you to choose your own decoration. It is, indeed, printable and customizable. Our customer also took some for his walls.
A delighted customer
Our client being a former winegrower, as we mentioned in the preamble, his choice was based on a theme of the vine.
Thus, he selected a photo of a vineyard field, an ageing cellar, as well as the Château de Brissac. The latter being located in the region. He was very satisfied with the visual rendering of these decorative acoustic paintings with frame.
In terms of performance, the panels reduced the reverberation time by more than half! Our client was very satisfied with this project.
The result, in terms of decoration, performance and budget seemed excellent to him. Our client also appreciated the entire acoustic consulting and optimization process.
